Welcome....

Let me start this blog by introducing my self. My name is Danielle and I am a mom of 6 kids, three dogs named Paco, Fluffy, and Tequila and a cat named Truck. I also am a Musician with a band called The Evolution you can click on the link and check us out! I started this blog for many reasons but the main reason is so we could share our lives with you. I have so many ideas that run through my head everyday that I needed a place to put them. So I decided to put them here and share them with everyone. I am hoping that everyone who reads will like and keep coming back to read more.
As a Mom of such a large family there are many things we have to do to save money and it is my job to make them as enjoyable as possible. If you asked my kids if they thought we were frugal they would have no idea what you were even talking about. I run a frugal house and they do not even realize it!
We are a family that loves God and everything about him. I do not think that we are "religious freaks" but we are "spiritual freaks" and love the Lord with all of our hearts. So don't be surprised if you see me reference God or The Bible.
We purchased our first home way out in what some would call the "boonies" and we are excited about learning many new things that we could do out there. I love to learn and am always looking for ways to save money and do some DIY projects.
Fate had other ideas though and we were hit by a tornado on March 2nd, 2012 and it devastated my family. We were all very blessed compared to some of our neighbors, but we lost so much We finished with the remodel of our home, moved back in and a year later find out that damage was done underground when the roots of the trees that fell split our septic. It was coming up in our yard. A $12,000 dollar fix. It was a fix that was just too much for our budget and with health department issues we could not remain in our home. We sold our house in 2013 and bought a house in a small town.
We had never had neighbors before we moved here. We had always lived on a farm or a descent piece of land. This house was smaller then any we had ever lived before, we barely have a yard and here we are 4 years later, starting a complete restoration. So in reality not much has changed our time line just moved up 4 years and we all still  get to learn the exciting world of DIY remodel. The two oldest have also moved on to enjoy the life of adult hood. So we are down to four kids, Let me introduce them to you:

  • Hunter - our youngest son, but the oldest at home. The only brother left living at home. He is 14 he plays over 10 different instruments, including guitar, ukulele, bass, alto sax, bass sax, drums, and a few others I can't think of at the moment. He plays in his school band his bass sax. He also has started weight lifting at the High School he will be attending next year getting ready to play football. He loves the outdoors. In the summer he fishes everyday. I have a freezer full of fish. He has won every fishing contest he has ever been in and broken the record of catching 151 fish in an hour. Ever since he could talk and walk he as wanted to be a firefighter and at about 11 decided that he was going to fight forest fires and be a smoke jumper. Hunter has been in special education his entire public school life. Next year in High School he will be for the first time in normal classes and have no IEP. He loves to work on broken motors in go carts, and cars, he finds broken power wheels and rebuilds them and designs them paints them "soups" them up and then takes them to a hill and rolls down it. He has broken his leg twice and arm once because he is a daredevil of a kid that tires anything and has no fear of adventure.

  • Then we have Victoria. She is the prime example of a tween. This year was her first year in middle school and she has discovered boys, bad words, dirty jokes, and all of the other most disgusting things that comes with middle school. Everything is the end of the world and nothing is ever right. She has the voice of an angel. She is in choir and in Honors choir. She never really showed interest in an instrument until this year and as I type there is a violin in the closet waiting for her birthday in just a couple of weeks. It is the first instrument she has ever asked for so I believe like all of my kids will excel at the violin. (Let's hope for the sake of my ears anyway.) She wants to be a pediatrician when she grows up. She loves everything disgusting. She gutted her first fish this year, she loves to dissect animal bones and other parts. Nothing grosses her out. She tends to be my lazier child though she watches TV too much if I let her and tends to not be interested much in the outdoors. Her soul is old and she loves black and white movies and loves to sing old songs like Elvis Presley.

  • Third down the line is Layla, the drama queen she is 10 and I can never remember that. I always think she is still 9, don't ask me why. She like all the other kids can sing and she likes the guitar. She plays it flat on her lap. Layla did not speak till she was 4 years old. We thought something was wrong autism or something we were discussing it in the office and they ran a hearing test all was good. They scheduled her to be seen by specialist. Something made her decide to open her mouth because the next day she talked in full sentences and hasn't been quiet since. She is a phenomenal artist and can draw just about anything she wants too. She is very needy and a want it right now kind of child or whining ensues. But she is sweet and loving. Always wanting to be right where we are. Which is fine with me their childhood goes by so quickly. She is a bit of a loner at school so this year we are thinking of putting her in girl scouts. She is also in choir and in her Art club at school.

  • Last but definitely not least is Elizabeth. With every child I have always said they were the meanest but Elizabeth broke the mold in meanness. She is tough as nails and full of attitude. She says it how it is and sassy as could be. She knows everything there is to know about everything even if she has to make it up herself. She sequels when she is mad and it scares the daylights out of you but it also runs through your skin like chalkboard. Her imagination is endless and she comes up with some of the best stories. She loves to sing and has just started to take an interest in the guitar. She is 8.

So there ya have it we are down to 6. Besides being a musician, this year I have started to work on getting a bakery going with a good friend of mine. LorDan Sweet Treats we are getting there it is just taking us a bit of time trying to find a building. I also started a brand called fultz inc. fultz inc provides personal shopping experience for people who just don't have the time to shop for a particular item. I find the what my client is looking for at the best possible deal they can get and I do all the work. When I came up with fultz inc. I had other ideas I wanted to try. I wanted to dip my hand in eCommerce and being a marketing affiliate. So I am working now on having some online stores plus I am learning to be a marketing affiliate through SFI. I have been slacking in that area a bit but plan on really hitting it hard soon. I also love to write so I am exploring freelance writing and I figured since I am a musician I would start a studio giving music lessons right now we are just doing vocal and guitar but I hope to expand. And then there is my charity I am working on getting off the ground. Guitars and Voices, my goal is to provide used refurbished instruments to kids who's parents couldn't otherwise afford them. And they must earn those instruments by participating in a certain amount of lessons to show they will be dedicated to that instrument. I decided to smash all the's smaller ideas under fultz inc. So you will get to follow me on many journeys. I hope that everyone is able to take something away from this blog and learn as I learn. Sharing your experiences with me here. I have a million topics in my head. And soon I will reveal what comes first!!
Last but not least Thank You for visiting my blog and welcome I hope you enjoy my post and I hope that  you will come and read frequently. There will always be something different and new to explore and learn. As well as tidbits and insights into my crazy life. So Have a great day! And come back soon.!!
